By Material

• Metal Armour — Highest protection, heavy weight. Includes plate, breastplates, and fine/sturdy variants.
• Chain Mail — Low abs percent but high max absorb. Scale mail and white chain mail are notable variants.
• Leather Armour — Light weight, preferred by scouts and thieves. Rigid leather offers more protection than soft leather.
• Cloth — No physical absorption, but adds dodge bonus. Magical cloth items (white robe, grey tunic) are favoured by spellcasters.
