A bolt is the standard ammunition for crossbows in MUME. Bolts are fired using the Missile weapons skill.

Its accuracy is poor, and it inflicts little damage upon hitting. It weighs a few ounces.
Bolts are compatible with both the crossbow and the light crossbow. They are widely available from shops. For better performance, consider metal-cased bolts, which deal average damage, or blackened bolts.
