Powwow is a classic, lightweight console-based MUD client that was historically popular with MUME players. It runs in a terminal and supports triggers, aliases, and basic scripting — making it suitable for players who prefer a minimal setup.

Powwow has largely been superseded by more actively maintained clients such as Tintin++, TinyFugue, and Pandora, but veteran players who learned on it may still use it.
